Portia “Ana” Belk calls the Memphis area home. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Special Education in 2016 and earned her M.Ed. in Reading and Literacy from Belhaven University in 2019. She holds an active teaching license in the state of Tennessee with certifications to work with individuals who have mild, moderate, or severe disabilities. In 2024, Ana obtained licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
She has 10 years of experience in the field of neurodiversity. In that time, she has been privileged to work in a variety of roles with a wide band of ages and demographics, from preschool to adulthood, spanning refugee and incarcerated populations. She specializes in supporting the acquisition of specific behaviors through Applied Behavior Analysis and offers child therapy, parent coaching, and IEP/ILP/504 plan advocacy.
Her primary areas of focus center around meeting the behavioral needs of juvenile learners with and without disabilities, including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, autism, ADHD, or other difficulties across multiple settings, while supporting whole-family needs and client independence.

Ana is a licensed behavior analyst. Her love for serving those impacted by autism and other diagnoses was and continues to be inspired by her familial connection to disability. She holds an active membership with the Council for Exceptional Children and is an alumni of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking with her dog, reading, and eating dim sum with her two daughters.
